Are known and practiced by those whom the Guru has been gracious to.

दस नख जो कार कमावै॥

Sustain your household only with such an income.

Will not have to cross over the World-ocean again.

Such a Singh is called Rehatvant (one obedient to the Rehat).

नौकर तुरकन का नहिं होइं॥

Do not become a servant of the Turks (ruling Mughals).

Meeting whom one finds much bliss.

With content hearts they know no worries.

If one cannot render service, he should seek work elsewhere.

One should practice a profession which does not involve any violation of the Rehat.
